'There really is no expedition or challenge like it. Being dwarfed by the mountainous waves struggling to keep a direction and routine, with no option of just stepping off the roller coaster ride or hide from the often ferocious elements or when your body begins to break down in protest, you're starved of food and sleep and then you plot your position on the charts and realise that you are still a thousand miles from the half way point... it is the ultimate test of endurance in everyway.
